4th Season 2019 is underway! Several changes for this season: we are open 12 - 18:00 for Tapas Tastings to pair with our Quinta do Tedo Portos and Douro DOC red wines and winemaker Jorge Alves’ Pouca Terra white wine. Come before or after a tour and tasting! Dinner is also served for our B and B guests and more. Indoor and outdoor seating, gorgeous views of Tedo River during the day, and also at sunset when birds swoop down to the river (to include the migratory bird oenanthe leucurus that adorns our label), our successful and delicious food and wine pairings from our talented chefs, and the charm of our estate - peaceful and off the beaten track - sings out to our visitors.
Bistro OK debuted for 2 weeks September 2014 - a lot of work and great gratification.
What started as a 2-week mother-daughter pop-up culinary spot, before Odile started her 2nd year of university - to offer tasting experiences to our visitors at lunchtime hours - today has morphed into an important part of Quinta do Tedo: Bistro Terrace! Back then aptly named Bistro OK - Bistro Odile / Kay - not to be confused with just an OK Bistro, the 2-week “season” was full of learning experiences, clattering of pots and pans and peeling many potatoes. Satisfied (and “supportive”) customers with smiles on their faces made the hard work worth every moment.

Odile’s gazpacho and summer tomato melon panzanella salad.
Portugal’s rich caramel pudding Abade de Prisco crowned with our Quinta do Tedo white chocolate bird, perfect for one of our Tawny Ports.
