Mission accomplished! Thanks greatly to passionate hiker and organiser Nelo Lopes from Thedon and Ardinia Association, the 14 km/8.75 mile hike from Quinta do Tedo to Tedo river’s source at Granja do Tedo, is today a reality! What started years ago to pay hommage to the spectacular bloom of the elderberry bushes, this year drew 170 hikers from all over Portugal. Why not this hike while staying at or visiting Quinta do Tedo - with proper planning this is a wonderful way to take in the exquisite nature.
The views along the way are inspiration for any hiker!
