Since 2004 we have worked with this premium cruise line, one of the first to start tours on the Douro River from Oporto as far east to the Spanish border – 210 kilometers of dramatically beautiful river travel! From Spring through Fall we welcome CroisiEurope tourists, as Quinta do Tedo is an optional excursion, especially for Porto lovers! Already enthusiastic about their CroisiEurope experience, we heighten their satisfaction by offering a tour of our historic lagares for foot treading and 18th century aging cellars filled with barrels and aging vessels, followed by a tasting of 3 different Portos. Portuguese, English, French, German and Spanish are spoken at Quinta do Tedo, so we can accommodate the many different nationalities. A thorough explanation of how each Porto is crafted is appreciated, as each Porto is quite different. Our approach is personable and our quinta has a familial feel. After the tasting many choose to ship home bottles since we ship all over Europe – pourquoi pas!
